Bluegiga BLE112 Bluetooth® 4.0 single mode Development Kit

Together with Bluegiga's Bluetooth 4.0 Software Development Kit, this hardware platform offers a full Bluetooth low energy application development suite,

supporting several application development models:
 

  • Host (external MCU) based applications
  • Standalone applications running inside the BLE112
  • Bluetooth GATT based profile development

 

The DKBLE112 Bluetooth 4.0 single mode Development Kit integrates the following peripheral devices:

 

  • 3 axis accelerometer (SPI)
  • LCD display (SPI)
  • Temperature sensor (ADC)
  • Battery monitor (ADC)
  • Potentiometer (ADC)
  • 4 buttons

 

All I/Os are available via a header. Power is provided either by a CR2032 battery or USB power supply.

 

The SDK, available from the Bluegiga support site after registration, consists of the following components:
 

  • Bluetooth 4.0 single mode stack
  • BGAPI command and control protocol between BLE112 and host
  • BGScriptTM scripting language for standalone applications
  • Profile ToolkitTM GATT based profile development kit
